The opening of the Poipu Beach Resort in 1959 marked a significant milestone, ushering in an era of tourism that continues to this day.

Today, Poipu is a vibrant and diverse community that seamlessly blends its rich cultural heritage with modern amenities and attractions. Visitors can explore ancient Hawaiian sites, indulge in world-class dining and shopping, or simply bask in the warm Hawaiian sun on one of Poipu’s renowned beaches, such as Poipu Beach Park or Shipwreck Beach.
